Abia Digital Library taken over


EDUCATION
One of Abia State government's legacy projects have under lock and key for quite a while. The multi million Digital E library located at the House of Assembly road Umuahia has been under lock and keys for a long while. Apart from the long grass that have taken over the front view of the structure, insects and small rodents were seen having a field day in the prmises.
 The e library offers additional online educational services apart from information database for both students, lecturers and the public. It would increase the state's monthly and annual returns on educational tourism.

However this edifice has not been operational gor months.

ABIA 2024: Health, Sports and Fun Dominate Activities

Abia 2024: Imo Stars in Aba, host Stars Hangout

Ahead of the Imo State University Alumni Association National Convention coming up in August, all hands are on deck to ensure that the event would be a tremendous success.  Specifically, Imo Stars resident in Aba have announced a Stars Hangout in a bid to have fun, foster relationships and galvanise support for the forth coming  National convention.  It is on record that the Local Organizing Committee are working round the clock to make sure they leave no stone unturned in a bid to carry everyone along. In a statement forwarded by the Chairman, Abia Distinctive Chapter, Mr. John Chika Ogbuji, the Stars' Hangout is slated to hold on 27th May, 2024 at Tiger Bar opposite Abia State Polytechnic Aba.
