Atiku tasks Jega's successor on electoral reforms

POLITICS: Former Vice president, Atiku Abubakar has commended out going Chairman of Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) Professor Attahiru Jega for the success Jega recorded during his tenure as INEC boss. This is coming as the former number two man in the country tasked whoever will replace Jega to push for reforms that might strengthen the Electoral Act and deepen democracy. The tenure of the INEC boss comes to an end today. A statement signed by Mazi Paul Ibe and released by the Atiku Media Office (AMO) in Abuja noted that Atiku hailed the successful conduct of the 2015 elections with the introduction of Card Reader and Permanent Voters Card (PVC) observing that the feats tremendously boosted Jega's reputation and earned him the respect of Nigerians and the international community.
