Abia 2024: Imo Stars in Aba, host Stars Hangout

Ahead of the Imo State University Alumni Association National Convention coming up in August, all hands are on deck to ensure that the event would be a tremendous success.  Specifically, Imo Stars resident in Aba have announced a Stars Hangout in a bid to have fun, foster relationships and galvanise support for the forth coming  National convention.  It is on record that the Local Organizing Committee are working round the clock to make sure they leave no stone unturned in a bid to carry everyone along. In a statement forwarded by the Chairman, Abia Distinctive Chapter, Mr. John Chika Ogbuji, the Stars' Hangout is slated to hold on 27th May, 2024 at Tiger Bar opposite Abia State Polytechnic Aba. ABIA 2024: Proper Planning, Team Spirit key to successful hosting - Porpor, former FCT Chairman

Ahead of the 7 th Imo State University Alumni Association, (IMSUAA) National Convention, a former chairman, FCT Pacesetter Chapter, Mr. Charles Nwosu has enjoined the Local Organizing Committee and members of Abia Distinctive Chapter to take the coordination and organization of the forth coming convention as a personal project, insisting that an excellent team spirit and can do spirit will ensure massive success of the convention. Nwogu who listed some of the pitfalls to avoid while organizing the Convention to include lack of proper planning, inability to carry every member along and high handedness on the part of the organizers. FREEDOM AT LAST (1) F reedom is a very relative concept. Much as humans want freedom (as free as air or bird kind of thing), therein lies alot of responsibilities. As an adolescent, I practically fought to be free from the clutches of my parents and ‘enjoy’ the good things of life like my peers. I grew up not playing as much football as I wanted. Once I heard the sound of my mother’s milk- coloured Peugeot 504 then, I would race up the stairs three at a time, though I was bow legged; and it was often. The only opportunity I had to be free was when we were enrolled for evening lessons in some place a long distance away from home. We were given some money for our transport, but we preferred to walk the distance with friends as a group with. Later, we would buy groundnuts or sweets in the spirit of freedom ‘since we don’t enjoy them at home’. All these tantrums did not prevent me from excelling in my grades.
