NABJ's Hall of Fame induction to hold in 2016

WASHINGTON, D.C. : The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) has concluded arrangements to host its 2015-2016 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony during the organization's 2016 convention in Washington, D.C. A statement made available to journalists indicates that instead of holding the Hall of Fame ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 16, the event will take place as a luncheon on Friday, August. 5, 2016, within NABJ's joint convention with the National Association of Hispanic Journalists at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, where 44 founding members met and signed the document that created NABJ in 1975. The next class of NABJ Hall of Fame inductees includes: Tony Brown, Charles Gerald Fraser, Dorothy Leavell, Dori Maynard, Gil Noble, Monica Kaufman Pearson, Austin Long-Scott, Stuart Scott, Jacqueline Trescott, Morrie Turner, John H.
