GARLANDS FOR ENYIOHA

ENYIOHA CHRIS ANYANWU BOWS OUT AS NATIONAL PRESIDENT OF IMSUAA WITH THE CELEBRATION OF MOTHERS 75TH BIRTHDAY & GOLDEN JUBILEE MARRIAGE CELEBRATION.

About 50 years ago, late Pa Augustine Ugwudi Anyanwu and Ezinne Juliana Chinyere Anyanwu joined together in Holy Matrimony which later produced Chris Anyanwu and siblings.

Without knowing exactly what the future of this children would look like. They concentrated in given to them the best available domestic, educational and Christian trainings.

Today, one of those mustard seeds is ENYIOHA Chris Anyanwu; National President of Imo State University Alumni Association.

Like a colossus, Enyioha started honing practical leadership skills from his hey days in the University as a Rotactor from where held different positions and acquired sufficient practical leadership trainings that helped him change the face of IMSUAA.

From 31 of December, 2014 when Enyioha assumed the headship of the Alumni till now he is preparing to take a glorious bow, it is clear even for the blind to see the  achievements under his watch after a proper foundation was laid by Barr. Chinwe Mbakwem and Abba Chimaroke 1st & 2nd National Presidents respectively.

From only four (4) Chapters in 2014 to presently eight (8) in 2018

From no Homecoming to 1st Homecoming

From no  Bank Account to operational bank accounts

From no Convention to 1st & 2nd world Convention in Enugu & Rivers respectively.

From absence of support to the University to regular financial and material support to the university

From no endowments to 10 million naira endowment though still in the making

From skeletal support of members welfare to full support of members welfare and beyond

From minor Chapter Commitment to full Chapter commitment, participation, building good will and better friendship.

From only Chapter Chairman & Secretary as only contestants and delegates to National Elections to all Chapter Executives as Contestants and delegates.

From inadequate recognition of performing Imo Stars to full recognition of Imo Stars in government and private sector etc.

Without being immodest, this achievements cannot be attributed to Chris Anyanwu Alone, credit must be given to the following

Imo Stars for their continuous support and consistent prayers, cash and material donations each time there is a distress call.

The Board of Trustees who make & approve policies and act as watch dog the full implementation of such.

The Dogged National Executive Council  whose adopted middle name is SERVICE

The Chapter PRO's who spend countless sleepless nights promoting the Association's programmes in various media on the instruction and the directive of Maazi Marcel Duru the National PRO.

Today, history will be fair to Enyioha Chris Anyanwu as he is set to take a glorious bow as the National President of Imsu Alumni whose leadership inspired the Association to greater heights of both National and International Visibility.

WHAT THEN DOES IMSU ALUMNI OWE ENYIOHA?

Enyioha is not requesting cash or material gifts from Imo Stars. All he wants from us is A MASSIVE ATTENDANCE TO HIS BELOVED MOTHER'S 75 YEARS BIRTHDAY & CUTTING OF JUBILEE CAKE FROM CHURCH TO RECEPTION as his own way of saying thank you to his mother for all her sacrifices in training him and his siblings to be who they are today.

Having served the Association with all his strength, might and resources even sometimes at the expense of his family comfort, Enyioha Chris Anyanwu deserves an Automatic on the Board of Trustees.

A gold plated medal of Honour and beautifully crafted 20 by 20 Customized plaque to preserve his memories of service to the Association and to  serve as a positive reinforcement to future leaders

Other Executive members should also be given a good plaque for distinguished service.

WAY FORWARD FOR ENYIOHA

Having dutifully served and  delivered, ENYIOHA CHRIS ANYANWU IS NOW SET TO BE CALLED FOR HIGHER STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP IN IMO & NIGERIA at large.

Congratulations Enyioha Chris Emeziem Anyanwu for you Came, Saw and Conquered.

Dr. Ugochukwu Lawrence Okorozoh is the National PRO Elect IMO State University Alumni Association
