As IMSU Alumni 'Mother Chapter' go to the polls

Elections no matter how big or small, have a way of creating tension and anxiety. This is because, every party involved wants to emerge victorious as there is no provision for two persons to occupy one position as it's the case in university education where 3 to 4 persons can all make first class and second class  respectively.

What many participants fail to understand is that once you are contesting for a position, you have already won. The reason for this assertion is that contesting for a position in an organization especially IMSU alumni means that you have chosen to serve others and giving the people to be served an opportunity to select who they prefer to serve them at that point in time.

What this means is that if others are eating, you have to wait to ensure they are comfortable before you can have yours.

The welfare of the people will be your utmost concern. If they people are crying you are crying and if they celebrating you are  celebrating.

Whoever that did not emerge tomorrow, should accept the outcome with the spirit of sportsmanship bearing in mind that another round of elections will be coming up. In two years time the person would have an edge over others if he or she maintains an acceptable disposition.

Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Richard Nixon, Winston Churchill, yours truly and other world leaders at one point in time of their life encountered heart wrecking defeat and failure  that fortified and made them better and stronger people today.

Let love lead for we are one true big and united family bounded by the peace and love of God.
