US, UAE to buy 3 Greek firms



The European Union has given approval to   UAE's Mubadala Development Company and U.S. AMERRA Capital Management to purchase three fish farming companies in Greece.

The acquisition is going for the UAE investment fund along with the U.S-based independent asset management company.

According to the European Commission, the three fish farming firms have the capacity to generate 10,000 tons of Mediterranean fish.

Moreover, the Commission affirmed, the firms have the hatcheries with a production capacity of 50 million pieces of fry.

Abia 2024: Imo Stars in Aba, host Stars Hangout

Ahead of the Imo State University Alumni Association National Convention coming up in August, all hands are on deck to ensure that the event would be a tremendous success.  Specifically, Imo Stars resident in Aba have announced a Stars Hangout in a bid to have fun, foster relationships and galvanise support for the forth coming  National convention.  It is on record that the Local Organizing Committee are working round the clock to make sure they leave no stone unturned in a bid to carry everyone along.
