IMSU ALUMNI UPDATE : Abia Chapter inauguration holds today

Barring any last minute changes,  the Abia Chapter of IMO State University Alumni Association will hold her inauguration today.

This is even as the chapter has received confirmation of the attendance of some members of the IMSU Alumni Board of Trustees and National Executive Council.

A statement jointly signed by the chairman elect, Mr. Crespo Epuzoaju and Publicity Secretary elect,  Mr.  Chukwudi Obi and made available to newsmen in Umuahia recently puts the venue at Rapha Hotel Umuahia, the Abia state capital,  while time is 6pm.

While enjoining all graduates of IMO State University resident in Abia state to attend,  the chairman elect noted that red carpet starts by 5pm.

According to the release,  the local organising committee has been working round the clock to ensure a successful inauguration of the committee.

The statement further stressed that conference materials and other  souvenirs will be made available at the venue on request.

"Today,  the Abia Chapter is making history. Our inauguration is an event that all must attend. For a little over two years members of the chapter have been working to see that we form a formidable chapter and today with the help of the recently elected executives and all members of the distinctive chapter , we are glad to see this that this dream has been realised", the statement read in part.
