DELTA TO HOST INTERNATIONAL HOSPITALITY, FORUM

The maiden edition of the International Hospitality, Tourism and Eco-Sustainability Forum (IHTEF) 2016 will hold in Asaba, the Delta State Capital between March 23rd and 24th 2016 at Nelrose Hotel. The event which is a partnership project of the Delta State Tourism Board and Sustainable Eco6tems will host local and global experts with interest in hospitality, tourism and climate change.

According to Engr Chibuikem Diala, the Organiser of IHTEF 2016, about 400 hundred participants are expected from both local and international communities, the primary objective is to offer participants an appropriate platform to share knowledge and draw lessons from major players cum experts in the above stated focused areas of the Conference.  

Invited Speakers at the Programme are expected to expose participants to modern realities and emerging opportunities in the Hospitality and Tourism industries as both lucrative and major employment generation tool in developing economies. Furthermore, Engr. Diala confirmed that the Delta State Government being the Principal host will play a major role in encouraging participants to commence new investments in the State with attractive incentive packages. Also, the Delta State Government as an acknowledged global advocate for green economy will offer its rich experience on known and tested interventions for addressing climate change in our local communities.

The IHTEF 2016 will conduct side events like Exhibitions, Panel discussions, Short Documentaries and Bed Making Competition. In addition,  opportunities for product advertisement are available for Hotels, Financial Institutions, Airlines, Spa and Wellness outfits, Fashion Houses, Schools, Culinary and Hospitality Institutions, FMCGs, Furniture/Interior Companies, etc.

The IHTEF 2016 Forum has received expression of programme attendance from four state governors, International NGOs and Federal Agencies. Also, partnership has been secured with Delta State Tourism Board, Xposurez Media, Hospitality & Tourism News (HTN), African Travel Times, Emerald Exclusive Apartments and Woodstarhotels.com.ng for the success of the Conference and comfort of participants
