Basic Function and Responsibility
• Perform complex clerical work
Qualifications
• Minimum of High School Diploma (OND) or its equivalent
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Outlook, Excel, Power point) is a must

OPTICIAN (DISPENSING OPTICIAN)
Basic function and responsibility
• Manage and maintain dispensary
• Provide expert service to patients regarding their optical needs
Qualifications
• Minimum of West African Senior School Certificate Examination (or its equivalent) or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired if necessary

MANAGER
Basic function and responsibility
• Manage operational, financial and personnel activities
Qualifications
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Management, Accounting, Human and International Relations, Sociology or other related fields.

CLINIC BUSINESS AND COMMUNICATIONS REPRESENTATIVE
Basic function and responsibility
• Direct, implement and maintain clinic communications with outside agencies
Qualifications
• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Management, Marketing or other related areas or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired if necessary.

OPHTHALMIC NURSE
Basic function and responsibility
• Conduction eye tests like visual acuity, intraocular pressure measurement, blood pressure, counseling of patients regarding ocular health and use of medication
Qualifications
• Registered nurse/B. Sc. Qualification
• 2 – 5 years’ experience
• Required license/certification
• Licensed ophthalmic nurse

Abia Chapter to storm Aba for historic meeting

Chukwudi Obi Barring any last-minute changes, members of Imo state University Alumni Association, Abia Distinctive Chapter have concluded arrangements to host their monthly general meeting in Aba, the commercial nerve centre of the state.  In a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Mr. Uchenna Ugochukwu, and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, the state capital, the meeting is scheduled to take place at Tiger Bar, Opposite Abia Poly Aba while time is 3pm.  The meeting, he said, which is the first of its kind in the history of the Chapter is geared towards giving graduates of Imo state university who reside in Aba a sense of belonging and ensure that they are carried along in the scheme of things.  In his own words, the Chairman of the chapter, Mr. John Ogbuji while encouraging recent and old graduates to avail themselves of the opportunity to meet with other professionals, network and drive development at the grassroot level, noted that the historic meeting in Aba is onl
